: Weston & Sampson Services is seeking a Water Laborer for our municipal drinking water system in Chatham, MA. This position will provide maintenance on hydrants and the distribution system.
 : What you’ll do:

• Assist crew with Distribution system maintenance. This includes Water meter change outs, Water meter reading, valve exercising, leak detection & Digsafe mark-outs
• Assist crew with groundskeeping of all Well sites, treatment plants & storage tank site
• Complete reports in a timely and complete manner
• Assist crew with Hydrant maintenance program. This includes painting, winterizing, flushing & pressure testing
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor

What you’ll bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
• Strong mechanical skills and good communication skills
• The ability to meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record for travel in New England

Salary:
Dependent on years of experience and licensing.

Incentives:
Pay increases may be offered with newly acquired licenses (Wastewater, Water, or other job-related license) as approved by the supervisor during the interview process.

Full-time position may require various shifts and/or flexible hours. You will be expected to participate in the on-call rotation, occasional overtime, holidays, weekends and nights.
